Leland E. Lutfy, Esq.

Leland E. Lutfy, Esq. graduated from the University of Denver in 1968 with a degree in philosophy. He graduated from Suffolk University School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts in 1971. After graduating from law school and passing the Massachusetts Bar, Mr. Lutfy was in private practice in Massachusetts until the beginning of 1976 when he accepted a position with the Department of Justice, United States Attorneys Office District of Nevada, where he remained for a total 7 and a half years after which he entered private practice.Child

After returning to private practice, Mr. Lutfy began emphasizing family law, divorce and custody cases. His legal philosophy in family law has always been and remains that the faster you solve problems for the family, the sooner everyone can get on with their lives. It is his goal to obtain the best resolution for his clients in a fair and expeditious manner. In child custody matters, his overriding concern is the welfare of the children who have to deal with the uncertainties associated with their parents' divorce.

Unfortunately there are times when one spouse will not act in the best interest of the family. If you are confronted with that situation you need an experienced and aggressive attorney to represent your and your childrens' interest. Mr. Lutfy has been in private practice for 33 years. He is an experienced trial attorney. If your spouse will not act reasonably in respect to custody of the children or the division of community assets, Mr. Lutfy will vigorously protect your interests under the law. A fair resolution for both parties is always the best outcome for the family. Sometimes you can only get fairness by having a lawyer, with experience, protect your interests. Mr. Lutfy is ready and willing to do so on your behalf. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of Nevada.
